At the end of 2017 Spike was rebranded as the Paramount Network. It was created as a destination for premium general entertainment. Their mission: to bring viewers compelling, immersive, and cinematic storytelling.
My role was to provide a collaborative bridge between the newly established brand, product and development. We ensured the cinematic design language was represented throughout the site. This site served as a springboard for a larger system to power all Viacom brands on the web.
The strategy for the home page during the Spike to Paramount transition was to communication to fans that their favorite shows were still available from the new channel along with new ones. We kept Paramounts big movie studio heritage alive and well throughout the cinematic images used for all the shows. These images would lead fans to show pages that featured latest full episodes and clips and photo galleries.
